Welcome to the National B.A.M.E Health & Care Awards’ B.I.D.E Workforce Summit

(Belonging, Inclusion, diversity and Equity) Conference, a dynamic half-day event on September 26th in Central London, UK.

This conference aims to celebrate diversity and excellence in the healthcare sector while providing a platform for insightful discussions on career progression, leadership, and the future of healthcare.

This conference addresses the unique challenges and opportunities faced by Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (B.A.M.E) individuals in the healthcare and care industries. It brings together thought leaders, professionals, and advocates to explore innovative strategies for success and advancement.

Through engaging panel sessions, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities, our goal is to inspire, empower, and equip attendees with the knowledge, skills, and connections necessary to thrive in their careers and contribute to the ongoing transformation of healthcare.

Join us as we champion diversity, foster collaboration, and chart a course towards a more inclusive and equitable healthcare landscape. Together, we can drive positive change and shape a future where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potenial in the health and care sectors.

Narrowing the Equity Gap with AI and Digital Transformation?

AI and digital technologies continue to be harnessed by the healthcare sector. To what extent are these agendas reducing workforce, and patient equity gaps?  This session will set the scene, positioning a need for a step change in our approach to innovation. It will include a moderated fireside chat with NHS leaders and policymakers, discussing the challenges, opportunities, and scalable solutions so that transformation works for all. A disproportionate number of people of colour in healthcare have grievances raised against them in the workforce. What is being done to tackle the dilemma. What role does inclusive leadership play and the importance of cultural competency.

  • Staff inequalities, offering them better support, reducing discrimination, reduce referral rates amongst healthcare professionals
