The Launching Of Gifted Ethnic Minority Staff ( G.E.MS) 75@75 Leaders List
To mark the 75th Anniversary of the NHS, Colourful Healthcare and the Seacole Group are proud to launch 75 @ 75 – a new leaders list recognising 75 health and social care professionals from Black, Asian and other minoritised backgrounds who are making a difference in the sector.
The latest NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard report shows that staff from Black, Asian and minoritized groups make up almost a quarter of the workforce overall (24.2%). The analysis shows more than two fifths (42%) of doctors, dentists, and consultants, and almost a third (29.2%) of our nurses, midwives, and health visitors are from Black, Asian and minoritized groups. The statistics are similar in adult social care.1

Nomination Process
To nominate or recommend, complete an online application on the National BAME Health and Care Awards website.
The application form will request the contact email of the nominee and the nominator.
To nominate answer each of 3 questions on the nomination form in no more than 250 words (no text over the 250 limit will be considered)
- No supplementary information is required, as inclusion on the list will be determined on the answers nominators provide in the nomination process.
- The successful list members will be contacted to provide a headshot photo and a brief (200 word) biography for the list publication
